Miggy's Music

About me

Hi, I’m Mitch, an enthusiastic guitarist and music teacher with a Bachelor’s Honours degree in Music Performance and Production and over 15 years of experience playing guitar.

From a young age, I’ve been driven to learn as much as I can about the instrument and share what I discover with my family and friends. Fast-forward a few years, and I’m lucky enough to do that as a career.

My passion is fingerstyle acoustic guitar, but I also teach a wide range of styles and techniques, including metal, jazz, rock and anything else you might want to explore.

My approach is relaxed, practical and focused on helping you make progress without feeling overwhelmed. Learning guitar should be fun and enjoyable, so alongside developing your technique and understanding of music, we’ll spend plenty of time playing the things you actually want to play.

I teach students of all ages and abilities, from complete beginners through to more experienced players looking to take their playing further.

If you’ve always wanted to learn guitar, or you’re ready to get back into playing, I’d love to help you get started!
